The New York State Education Department (NYSED) has determined that the Elementary Assessment of Teaching Skills—Written (090) and the Secondary Assessment of Teaching Skills—Written (091) will no longer be used for educator certification. These tests are being removed from the NYSTCE program. Candidates will not be able to register for these tests after 4/18/24.
