Foundations of Classroom Support and Instruction (519) (First Test Admin 1/27/26)

Registration opens for the Foundations of Classroom Support and Instruction (519) test on January 27, 2026.

Foundations of Classroom Support and Instruction (519) is a National Evaluation Series™ test. This is the official educator licensure test to fulfill the content knowledge requirement for candidates seeking an endorsement to a New York State teaching certificate.

Format	Computer-based test (CBT): 80 selected-response items
Time	2 hours and 15 minutes total appointment time 15 minutes for CBT tutorial and nondisclosure agreement 2 hours testing time
Breaks	You may take restroom breaks during testing. Time taken for breaks is considered part of the available testing time.
Test Dates	By appointment year-round, Monday through Saturday (excluding some holidays)
Test Sites	Located in New York State and nationwide.
Passing Score	220
Test Features	None.
Test Fee	$49
Score Reporting	Candidates with a test center appointment will receive a receipt of completion at the conclusion of their test.
Testing Policies	When you register, you must agree to abide by all testing rules and policies.

Tests may include test questions that are being evaluated for future administrations and that do not affect a candidate's score.
